Harry Conley, CPM® President/CEO
Mr. Conley’s career spans over 30 years in the commercial real estate industry. He has held senior property management positions with national real estate firms including Trammell Crow, Prentiss Properties, and Hines. His responsibilities have included the management of real estate portfolios in excess of 10 million square feet. Founding Fifth Street Management Company in Atlanta, GA in 2002, Fifth Street now manages over 5 million square feet of Class “A” office, corporate facilities and high-rise condominiums. Mr. Conley’s experience includes the opening of over 7 million square feet of commercial office assets in cities across the United States. Fifth Street employs over 100 managerial, accounting and engineering staff and is a recognized leader in “Green Building” operations. He is a graduate of Texas State University and has obtained the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, National Board of Realtors.
George R. Lipscomb Chief Operating Officer
George Lipscomb, Chief Operating Officer, has an extensive background in commercial real estate including property management, accounting/finance and maintenance engineering. With over 30 years in the industry with major U.S. firms such as Carter, Hines and PM Realty, Mr. Lipscomb oversees all aspects of the real estate management operations across all property types. Mr. Lipscomb has serviced notable owners and institutions as Sumitomo, TIAA-CREF, Coca Cola, GE and BellSouth (now AT&T). His broad range of experience covers portfolios exceeding 17 million square feet of class A buildings, multi-family, condominiums, and corporate facilities. George currently has overall responsibility for the company’s third party management operations including maintenance and accounting. Mr. Lipscomb is a graduate of Tulane University and also holds the CPA license in the state of Georgia.
Joe Sorbet Corporate Director of Engineering
Mr. Sorbet’s career spans over 27 years in the commercial real estate industry. He has held engineering positions with national real estate firms including Hines, ING Clarion Realty Services, and Affiliated Building Services Inc. Mr. Sorbet served in the United States Navy and achieved the rank of Third Class Petty Officer and was qualified as Fire Room Supervisor and Top Watch. While serving in the Persian Gulf aboard the USS LaSalle Mr. Sorbet was nominated for Sailor of the Month for developing and implementing an “in house” training program for new boiler room personnel. He was also given a Captain’s letter of commendation for quick response during an engine room casualty. Mr. Sorbet’s experience includes Shift Supervisor over thirteen personnel at the six million plus square feet of Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, Chief Engineer of the 300,000 square feet Crystal Springs Headquarters in Sandy Springs (ING Clarion), and the 510,000 square feet Riverwood 100 in North Atlanta (ING Clarion). He is a graduate of Boiler Technician A School (USN) and he holds a Georgia Association of Power Engineers Chief Engineers license.
Nancy Elliott General Manager, Commercial Division
Nancy Elliott’s, General Manager, career in commercial real estate management spans over 13 years. Ms. Elliott has held management and supervision positions at such notable firms as Cousins Properties, Lincoln Property Company and Parmenter Realty Partners. Ms. Elliott’s distinguished career includes receiving the BOMA Building of the Year award and the achievement of LEED certification at Class A commercial properties. Ms. Elliott’s expertise includes LEED program implementation, construction management and portfolio management. Ms. Elliott currently has portfolio property management responsibility for Fifth Street’s largest institutional client in Atlanta overseeing a 2M square foot Class A office portfolio.
Jennifer Krenson General Manager, Residential Division
Jennifer Krenson career in residential property management spans over 15 years. Ms. Krenson has held senior management positions at both the property and corporate level with such notable national real estate firms as Lincoln Property Company, RREEF Residential and Archon Residential. Ms. Krenson has had responsibility for multi-state regional portfolios of multi-family properties through out the southeast U.S. in capacities such as Director of Community Operations, Director of Marketing, Training and Regional Property Manager. As General Manager at Fifth Street Management Company Ms. Krenson has senior management oversight for the Residential Division including multi-family and condominium assets.
Nick Cawood Vice President, Business Development Government & Institutions
Mr. Cawood’s career spans 30 years in project management, sales, marketing, and financial management of design and construction services to international corporate clients including IBM, Citicorp, Royal Insurance, Philip Morris and GE. In his capacity as COO he has managed large and small domestic and international capital project teams from concept to completion. Mr. Cawood is a graduate of Clemson University and has held contractor licenses in California, Utah, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia in his career. At Fifth Street Management, he has the responsibility for business development in the government and institutional sectors.
